In view of the continuing coronavirus pandemic, It is with great reluctance that all the events planned for 2020 have been deferred until 2021. For a list of the new planned dates, please see the Events page of this website.

7th April 2021 – As the current Covid restrictions would make it impossible to hold this event on Rogation Sunday, 9th May 2021, Beating the Bounds will now take place on Sunday 1st August 2021. The historical talk by Charles Bird will now take place on Friday 12th November 2021 and the Brue Boys concert has been re-arranged for Saturday 27th November 2021. Finally, the Candlelit Procession to St. George’s Church for the Christmas Carol service will now take place on 19th December 2021.

18th February 2021 – The Grand Pageant has been moved to Saturday 4th September 2021.

10th February 2021 – The Art Exhibition has been moved to the weekend of 2nd/3rd October 2021 and the Celebratory Concert has been moved to Saturday 30th October 2021.

16th January 2021 – Please note that the date of the Celebratory Service and Street Party has been brought forward by one week to Sunday 11th July 2021.

3rd January 2021 – Following the recent upsurge in Covid cases round the country, it is now impossible to predict with any certainty when we will once again be able to hold large indoor events. Accordingly, the decision has been taken to defer the talk by Charles Bird which was scheduled for 27th March 2021 until later in the year.
